Green Marine has successfully completed the installation of Microsoft’s Project Natick subsea data centre, dubbed Northern Isles, in Orkney.
Green Marine were awarded the contract by Naval Energies for the final onshore assembly and marine operations required for the groundbreaking, innovative project through a competitive tender process. The scope of work awarded to Green Marine included all the engineering, onshore assembly and offshore operations required to transport and install the subsea datacentre using Green Marine’s vessels.
